Safety & Social Distancing

The safety of our teams and members is our number one priority, and while things might look a little different, our clubs continue to provide a premium health and fitness experience. We are incorporating extensive cleaning protocols and social distancing practices throughout our clubs. Key measures include:

  • In line with new guidelines any person entering the club must present a Health Pass which is proof of a double vaccination or a negative result in the PCR / antigen test of less than 48 hours. For more information, please contact the club.
  • Limiting the number of members in certain areas of the club.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are located in reception and throughout the club.
  • Using a viricidal disinfectant cleaning solution, proven to kill enveloped viruses within 60 seconds.
  • Enhanced cleaning schedules to maintain high level of hygiene, particularly across high contact points in the club.
  • Reduced class occupancy to allow for social distancing.
  • Team members are sanitising equipment after every class.
  • More space has been created in the gym and additional gym spaces introduced at most clubs so you can exercise at a safe distance.
  • We now have a concierge to greet members, ask them to sanitise their hands and help familiarise them with their new-look club.
  • We have installed thermal imaging camera technology in some of our Clubs.

Whether you've been yearning for a return to your favourite cardio machines, desperate to get back to a huge range of free weights, or keen to pick up where you left off with our functional training equipment - we have everything you need and more in our spacious gyms. We're also offering socially distanced PT sessions so you can enjoy the added benefits of training face to face under the guidance of our experts.

We have also installed additional, temporary gym space at most of our clubs, so you won't have to wait to use your favourite piece of equipment.

Plus, with reduced capacity, social distancing measures such as increased spacing between all equipment, new sanitisation stations and constant cleaning, our gyms provide the quality environment you need to work out both safely and efficiently.

Fitness Classes

Our varied programme of fitness classes is back, bringing you daily holistic, group cycling, strength and conditioning, cardio and HIIT classes in our spacious, dedicated studios.

If you thrive on the extra motivation you get by working out in a group, our brilliant range of classes means you'll find a session that suits you, with everything from Group Cycling, boxing and yoga. We're also continuing to run some of our most popular outdoor fitness classes, so you can enjoy a workout in the open air.

And you can rest assured we're doing all we can to keep you safe. We're limiting class sizes based on government guidelines and scheduling our timetable to give ample time between classes for our thorough cleaning procedures. High Impact and Mind & Body studios have areas marked out to indicate where participants should stand, so you can maintain a safe distance.

Swimming

Both our pools are open. The outdoor pool allows you to really make the most of the sunny weather. Relax and cool down with a quick dip, enjoy an invigorating training session or sit back and relax on one of our sun loungers.

We've put measures in place to ensure your return to the water is a safe one. We're limiting the number of swimmers per lane. We're also wiping down sun loungers after each member has used them.

We've also reintroduced a limited number of swimming lessons, with reduced capacities and at least a 10 minute gap between sessions to prevent any gathering or waiting around in groups.

Kids classes

We've got lots of ways to help kids stay healthy and active, with classes running indoors and outdoors.

Kids aged 3-11 can take part in our exciting range of DL Kids classes, all of which have been adapted so they can be done safely and with adequate social distancing. Each child will be given their own space to work in, as well as individual equipment to allow them to maintain a safe social distance and prevent any risk of cross contamination. We'll also sanitize all equipment before and after each class to give you that extra peace of mind. Plus, these hour-long classes run alongside our group exercise sessions so you can enjoy a workout of your own while the little ones let off some steam.

Our creche facilities have also reopened, and sessions are bookable for one hour, per day, per child. Plus, if your children just want to let off some steam, our indoor soft play and outdoor play areas and play frames are also open.

Yoga & Pilates

Enjoy a return to our bright and airy Mind & Body studios with the calming and healing benefits of a yoga or Pilates class. When the weather suits, we're also running some classes outdoors, so you can enjoy a session in the sunshine whilst taking in the peaceful surrounds of our outdoor pool and gardens.

Our holistic classes are the perfect way to tone your muscles and improve your posture, while boosting your flexibility and core strength. They're great for the mind too, and can provide an ideal tonic for the stresses and strains of life's recent challenges.

Plus, with small class sizes, spacious studios with plenty of distance between participants and thorough cleaning between classes, your safety is always our priority.

Tennis courts

We're so pleased that our match-quality indoor and outdoor tennis courts are now open.

Courts are available for members aged 5 and above, so whether you're a racquets lover or new to the sport, you can enjoy a game of singles or doubles with fellow members. Group coaching sessions and organised social sessions are also back on the timetable.

To make sure you stay safe, courts must be booked in advance, and we've set aside 10 minutes between bookings to allow staff to clean all touchpoints and ready the court for the next players. Our premium squash courts are open too, though squash can only be played with members of the same household to ensure social distancing guidelines are met.

Eat, work & socialise

Our Clubrooms and outdoor dining areas are now open for you to relax, work or socialise with family, friends and fellow members. You can enjoy lots of your favourite dishes from our main menu or just enjoy a drink on our terrace overlooking Madrid.

Plus, if you fancy a change of scene, our spacious Clubrooms or adult lounge are a perfect alternative to working from home, with fast Wi-Fi and comfortable seating providing a great environment to get on with some work. And of course, we're ensuring social distancing is maintained at all times.
